Going to a 14t in front is cheaper and you will not need to get
a longer chain.
smaller in front= better take off/ slower top speed
smaller in rear= slower take off/higher top speed
I'd go with at least a 60 tooth back sprocket. I had a
43-tooth once that we cut out a 60-tooth in a circle and overlay it and
bolted it on. That bike had I think an 18-tooth countershaft, which we
replaced with a 15. 15-60, no problem with wheelies.
